1: Initial Consultation Meeting

  • The process starts with an in-person meeting, preferably on-site.

  • The client explains what they need, what is in scope, their timing and budget.

  • Christine will explain how she works, and the firms capabilities.

  • This meeting usually lasts around 1to 2 hours, depending on the size of the project and is a set fee, redeemable against the purchase of a project'Design Concept'.

2: Design Concept

  • Rady Design will need measurements of the relevant spaces before proceeding.

  • The design brief will be confirmed and spatial planning and floor plan layouts will commence.

  • Once the design concept has been completed, Christine will present to you a floor plan and an overall vision including ideas for materials, colours, and images of furnishings for review.

3: Design Development

  • Once the concept has been agreed, Rady Design can launch into the detail; such as technical drawings and selections and costings of fixtures, fittings and finishes. 

  • Selection and specification of fixtures, fittings and finishes for builders, or

  • Selection and specification of finishes and furnishings for client.

  • Proposed items will be documented for client approval.

  • Time is spent making any necessary adjustments to items and costings.

4: Implementation

  • The final design and selections are approved. 

  • Technical drawings completed.

  • Trades will commence.

  • Purchase orders will be prepared and items ordered and there progress monitored.

  • Support of vendors and trades people.

5: Installation and Review

  • Renovation work continues with receipt of items. 

  • Receive furniture, lighting, artwork and soft furnishing orders

  • Styling of project

  • Review of project with Client.
